The Birds were chirping as Bobby woke up. Then fell asleep. Then again he woke up with the sun shinning brightly into his eyes. He squinted his eyes and grudgingly sat up in his bed. He rubbed his eyes then stretched his arms into the air and yawned.
Well I wonder how long I slept. I remember waking up before. But I can’t remember. What time is it?
Bobby got up and padded his way into the living room were there was a small clock. He looked.
“Oh my gosh”
He raced into his room and changed into a big blue shirt and green shorts. Popped on his shoes and bolted outside onto the patio. I can’ believe I’m gonna be late. It’s like 8:02 am already and I promised Goku I would meet him at 8:00am sharp! Oh man ohmanohmanohmanohman!
Bobby hurriedly raced out of the door and into the back alley were he raised passed Dale, Bill, and Boomhower. (A/N:Forgive me if I mis spell anyones names)
His heart raced but he finally made it. He saw Goku about to leave.
“Wait up I’m here I’m here!” Bobby shouted blindly. Goku turned around and smiled with relief evident in his eyes. Bobby hunched over the dark green car. trying to regain his breath.
“So Bobby-kun, Anything you want to share with me. Like say how you were late? Hmmm”
Bobby looked up at Goku, who was smiling with a sence of victory and smugness.
“I over slept”
“A likely story”
“Like it or not it’s true”
“Well,okay. Hop in”
Goku climbed into the drivers side while Bobby sat into the passengers side.
And away they drove off.
In the car they passed several splaces until they came to the local library. They parked and got out of the car.
“Why are we here Goku?” They started walking towards the large front glass doors.
“Simple my chubby friend”
“Hey”
Goku waved it off as a joke, “Were here to expand your anime budding mind”
Bobby smiled, “Cool, What are we gonna learn first”
They walked past the check out desk and up the stairs. “Well I’m going to teach you about Japanese culture first.” Bobby groaned at the thought of not doing something more fun. “But hopefully if you have your library card then we won’t have to read up on that stuff right away. We could just check them out and go do something else today. Bobby sighed and fished out his library card from his pocket.
“Iv’e got it”
“Good, well then lets get to some haulin and what nots”
For maybe about an hour they spent their time finding the best books for Bobby. Until finally they had their collection. Which included the first manga of Inuyasha and the 2nd and 3rd mangas of Naruto. A book on Japanese language. and on culture. Though lastly was a book that showed Bobby how to make bento boxes and the sorts of foods in them most commonly used.
They checked them out and headed towards Goku’s car. “Hey Goku”
“Yeah?” They climbed into the car.
“Why did you only find me the 1st series of Inyasha and not any of the other cool manga’s that I saw.” They buckled their seat belts and drove off. “Well when you go to any young adults section you have to be prepared for disappointment. Cause most likely your going to find fantastic manga. But not the first manga of it”
Bobby stared out the window, “Oh! I guess I’m ready for that then but right now…Were are we going”
Goku turned on his blinker and turned to the right. He continued onward for a while then turned to the right.
Goku casually glanced at Bobby, then back at the road. “Well you said something about getting into shape. And so I’m gonna get you into shape. Cause if I don’t your gonna ask for a refund on the clothes you bought”
“I wasn’t gonna do that”
Goku shrugged, “You never know. Anyways were here”
Bobby looked out his window and saw what looked like a health store. Or something like that. He really didn’t know what he was looking at. “What is this place”
Goku put his car in Park and twisted the keys out. “Were going to visit my main guy and see if we can get you on track. Ya know. get you on a schedule so you don’t have to worry about staying in shape the whole time and have some good old fashioned fun”
Bobby got out of the car and slammed the door shut. “Sounds good to me”
They entered the store. Their footsteps creaked under the weight of their footsteps. Bobby soon looked around amazed. The store looked completely different on the inside. The place was small and had the looks of the inside of a farmers house. Toons of shelves were stocked with many exotic boxes and bottles with labels he had never seen before.
More creaking and footsteps. “There is my little suga’ plum”
Bobby looked up. “Bobby, this is Miss Nuri Lenord. She’s my aunt. Say hello”
Bobby was vexed and his breath hitched. For before his eyes he saw the most exotic woman he might have ever seen. She was an older woman, possibly in her 30’s. With black hair and dark skin. She reminded Bobby of a gypsy woman.
Bobby smiled and waved, “Hello Misses Lenord”
“Please, call me aunt Nuri, They all do here”
“I’ll make sure to.” Her voice contained a thick accent.
Goku pulled away from aunt nuri and led Bobby to some items at the back of the store. Aunt Nuri followed steadily behind them.
“Well Bobby, were gonna need to get you on the right track soon. So what I’m gonna do is have aunt Nuri behind us give you her specialty”
Aunt Nuri walked in front of them and nodded to Goku, silently understanding what each other Nuri retrieved a bottle from the very back of a shelf. “So what is this speciality sichiation”
Goku smiled as aunt Nuri handed him the bottle. “It’s a special potion that aunt Nuri made up. But the key to it’s successful use is very crucial. I mean it Bobby! You drink the slightest too much and you’ll be in big trouble!” Goku’s eyes told all, he was serious.
Bobby gulped, having second doubts about all of this. He dildn’t even know Goku that well. And what kind of a name was Goku? He was peach skinned. with semi wide eyese. he didn’t look asian. If anything he looked british! “Bobby! Did you hear what I said”
Goku was waving his hands in front of Bobby. trying to get him to snap out of it.
“What”
“Did you here what I said”
Bobby nodded. “Well anyways this stuff is gonna cost ya ’bout Fifty”
“Fifty”
“Yup”
“I don’t have that kind of money on me”
Aunt Nuri placed a hand on Bobby’s shoulder, making his cheeks turn red. “Bobby, you will take this potion, and pay for it. But what I will do is ask you to pay me in small doses. Lets say…five a week”
Bobby smiled, “Aunt Nuri, you’ve got yourself a deal”
Bobby took the bottle from aunt Nuri and left with Goku. Happily.
Goku drove Bobby home. By the time they got there it was two in the afternoon. Goku put the car into park and pressed the button to unlock the locks when he spotted a red truck coming up behind them. Goku pulled Bobby back some. “Hold on Bobby, wait till that truck passes before you get out”
“Red truck?
Bobby glanced to the right and he saw what he feared father.
