Mutate.io (mutatio for those who prefer) is a game for multiplayer like agar.io. Players control blob creatures that may feed, expand as well as mutate to take on other players.
The game was created for this jam, the Pygame Community New Years jam (theme: mutation), and I tried to make use of the jam to study networking, and explore game development habits I’m not accustomed to (e.g. smaller global states).
The sole server available is my own: 34.76.77.52, and I intend to continue to host it for at the very least one month after the launch. Maximum simultaneous clients permitted is 10.

Versions: version 1.0.1 was available before the closing of the jamversion 1.0.2 contained minor bug fixes for the server.py file that was causing unexpected disconnections from clients. “Slim” Versions include a compiled version in which I tried to remove any DLLs, folders, and other files I believe that you do not require to run the program. Download at your own own risk.
